Tomislav Ples
Tomislav Pleš holds a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Master's degree in Kinesiology and serves as the Head of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center at Preventis Polyclinic in Zagreb.
He specializes in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions within the fields of orthopedics, rheumatology, and physiatry, providing care for patients of all age groups. His professional experience includes clinical work at the Children's Hospital Klaićeva, as well as in orthopedic outpatient clinics and private healthcare institutions in Zagreb, where he has managed a wide range of traumatic, post-operative, and degenerative conditions.
His clinical work focuses on:
- rehabilitation following traumatic fractures
- pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery
- treatment of overuse syndromes
- therapy of congenital musculoskeletal conditions
- injury prevention in athletes
- correction of musculoskeletal imbalances
He also has extensive experience working with professional athletes, including elite tennis players and national team members. He served as a member of the medical staff and lead physiotherapist for the Croatian Women's National Softball Team at the European Championship.
