
Jurica Hercigonja
Jurica Hercigonja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb.
During his academic training, he actively participated in scientific and professional events related to physiotherapy and sports medicine, including the Physiotherapy in Sport, Recreation and Wellness conference and the international Erasmus BIP program focused on assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients with chronic pain using modern therapeutic approaches and the biopsychosocial model.
His professional interests are focused on the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, with particular emphasis on injury prevention and functional recovery following sports and orthopedic conditions.
His clinical focus includes:
- rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries
- secondary prevention of sports-related injuries
- proprioceptive training
- chronic pain management
- functional recovery following injury
- improvement of stability and mobility
His final thesis titled Proprioceptive Training in the Function of Secondary Prevention of Ankle Injuries in Sports was presented at the Sports Medicine Conference in Poreč.

Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy obtained from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb.
