Dr. sc. Petar Matošević, MD, is a general and subspecialist in abdominal surgery at the Department of Oncological Surgery of the KBC Zagreb Surgery Clinic. He completed his doctoral post-graduate studies in Biomedicine and Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb and was elected to the post of associate. He was educated in the field of laparoscopic surgery at McGill University in Canada, and received additional training in oncological surgery at the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris. He completed the "Advanced Energy Sources in Surgery MasterClass course" in Elancourt, France and the "Groin Hernia Repair with Ultrapro Hernia System in Day-Case Surgery workshop" course in Mestre, Italy. He also trained in the use of Harmonic and Enseal platforms in open and laparoscopic colorectal procedures and completed the "Colorectal Learning Continuum" course held in Zagreb, Ljubljana and Cincinnati. He participated in the publication of 10 papers in internationally indexed journals and 36 papers presented at national and international congresses.
