Dr. Maja Bosanac

Pediatrics
She graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2004. After completing her mandatory internship, she began working in the Pediatric Department of the General Hospital Bjelovar, where she started her specialization in general pediatrics. Her specialization was conducted at the Sestre Milosrdnice Clinical Hospital and the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, and she passed her specialist exam in 2010. She continued working at the Pediatric Department of the General Hospital Bjelovar.

Qualifications

Over time, she developed an interest in pediatric pulmonology and allergology, starting her subspecialization in pediatric pulmonology in 2012, which she completed in 2014. Her subspecialist training took place at the Pediatric Clinic of the University Hospital Centre Rijeka, the Children's Hospital Zagreb, and the University Hospital Centre Zagreb.

Experience

Since 2016, she has been working at the Children's Hospital Zagreb, in the Department of Pulmonology, Allergology, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology as a pediatric pulmonologist. Her areas of interest include chronic lung diseases, non-invasive ventilation in children, and cystic fibrosis.

Membership

She is an active member of the Croatian Pediatric Pulmonology Society, the European Respiratory Society, and the European Cystic Fibrosis Society.
