Cryopreservation of semen

About

Cryopreservation is a method of freezing and preserving sperm, eggs, or embryos for their later use. We only store quality embryos and healthy embryos from which a healthy baby can grow.

Before freezing the cells, we treat them to prevent their damage during cryopreservation. The cells are frozen slowly, at a rate of approximately 0.3 ° C per minute. We store them in liquid nitrogen at about -195 ° C.

If we want to prepare the frozen embryo for transfer, we need to warm it up to room temperature, remove the cryopreservation substances, and see if it is capable of further development.
